I am a hippy weirdo, a math and science geek, a published author, a gourmet vegetarian chef, a lover of nature from the celestial to the creepy-crawly, a rampant pagan hominid, a more or less irreligious ignostic, a multi-instrumental musician, an organic gardener, a Friend of Tuva, a Friend of Charles Darwin, and of course a relatively finite body-mind expression wandering through this infinite in all directions universe.

I live in the Platypus Nest on the beautiful St Lawrence river, with my wife/snugglebunny Abby (![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) alien_sunset), our American Eskimo wonder pup Cayenne, and the newest addition, our tortie cat Esmerelda Weatherwax. I'm a student at Empire State College, and right now I work two jobs, one at a local motel and one at a boatline that cruises the Thousand Islands. If there's anything else you want to know, ask.

As you may have noticed, I have a rather large number of icons. If you're wondering where they all came from, here's the scoop:
Many of the icons I created myself, using either Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7, Jasc Animation Shop 3, Sqirlz Morph 1.1e, Fractal Forge or some combination of the above; or else they are photos taken by myself or the lovely and talented alien_sunset; or else they are a combination of the above, photos warped to my own nefarious purposes. The exceptions to this rule are those that are details taken from larger works of art.
